Kari Jobe “The Garden”

I don’t get a ton of music to review (which is sad since I would LOVE IT! Music may be one of my love languages, if that is even a thing).

I’ve heard of Kari Jobe before, and I know vaguely who she is. She’s done some speaking tours with Christine Caine (love!) and bits and pieces on social media. But I hadn’t listened to her music a ton honestly. Or if I had, I didn’t recognize it.

The Garden” came in earlier this week, and I put it in the car’s CD player the next morning for my commute. Oh my goodness what an amazing way to start the day (and well, end it as well since I tend to leave it on for my drive home too)! My teenage choir girl loves her enunciation of words. But honestly, I love how much she conviction she shows for Christ in her music. How much passion she shows for her faith. It is a beautiful album.

I have favorites, of course.

Let Your Glory Fall

Heal our Land

Those two might be my absolute favorites from this album. And I basically am in love with tracks 7, 8, 10-14. Seriously. I couldn’t pick a few from that grouping (track 9, Closer to your heart, I’m iffy about, it definitely felt more love song than worship, but makes sense since it was recorded with her husband). But the rest of the CD is beautiful, convicted, and guiding.

Received in exchange for my honest review. Now to go add more of her music to Spotify!
